No Love like a Mother's Love

There is no love, like a mother's love,
no stronger bond on earth...
like the precious bond that comes from God,
to a mother, when she gives birth.

A mother's love is forever strong,
never changing for all time...
and when her children need her most,
a mother's love will shine.

God bless these special mothers,
God bless them every one...
for all the tears and heartache,
and for the special work they've done.

When her days on earth are over,
a mother's love lives on...
through many generations,
with God's blessings on each one.

Be thankful for our mothers,
for they love with a higher love...
from the power God has given,
and the strength from up above.

A Few Of My Favorite Things...

Today was a GOOD DAY! I stopped into one of my favorite Prim Shoppes only to find that Tina, the owner, was having a 50% off $ale.. YEAH for me!

The Crooked Mile located in Washington, New Jersey is one of my favorites to shop in. So if your ever in that area, this shoppe is an absolute MUST!

Take a look at all the goodies I got at 50% off!

First up is a large Prim Bunny...isn't she beautiful?

Then there is the "Patriotic Prim Bunny" who is equally adorable...now the only thing is how do I keep inquiring little puppy paws away? LOL!

And I FINALLY found the Checkerboard Sign I've been looking for!

I also picked up a Prim fridge note pad and some Prim magnets for the fridge. All in all it was my LUCKY day and at 50% who can resist?

Happy May Day!

May 1st , often called May Day, just might have more holidays than any other day of the year. It's a celebration of Spring. It's a day of political protests. It's a neopagan festival, a saint's feast day (St. Joseph the worker), and a day for organized labor. In many countries, it is a national holiday.

In medieval England, people would celebrate the start of spring by going out to the country or woods—"going a-maying"—and gathering greenery and flowers, or "bringing in the may."

Another English tradition is the Maypole. Some towns had permanent maypoles that would stay up all year; others put up a new one each May. In any event, the pole would be hung with greenery and ribbons, brightly painted, and otherwise decorated, and served as a central point for the festivities.

Danny Boy's First Professional Grooming

Well, today was a big day for the little guy. He had his very first "professional grooming". PetSmart has a "Puppy Package for only $15.99! The groomer told me he was a "very good boy" and kept constantly giving her kisses! I wasn't sure how he would take things but I'm really glad he did well since he will be getting a lot of baths in the future.

We plan on putting him in his very first Show in a couple of months. I figure it will be fun for the both of us and I'll be able to meet a lot of people while on the Dog Show Track. Next week we start with "puppy training". Who knows maybe one day they will announce "Danny Boy" as the winner of the Westminster Dog Show? We'll keep our fingers crossed for him.

Well, it was a looooong day for the little guy so till we meet again.....Good night!
